World Teachers’ Day

Celebrating the Guiding Stars in Our Children’s Lives | 27th October

World Teachers’ Day is fast approaching, and it’s an occasion to honour the educators who lead our children on a journey through the realms of knowledge, igniting their aspirations to reach for the skies! In classrooms, teachers take on the role of dream weavers, imparting values, and delivering invaluable life lessons. Their unwavering commitment and relentless support create an environment where young minds can flourish and thrive. Regardless of whether you’re a mentor to students, a parent or a lifelong learner, today is the day to celebrate the collaborative dedication of all teachers!

It’s a well-known secret: teachers are pen enthusiasts! With a constant need for jotting down assessments, lesson plans, and meeting notes, a pen is a must-have. So, when you’re on the hunt for the perfect gift to express your appreciation for an exceptional teacher, consider this ingenious idea. It’s a breeze to assemble, promises heaps of fun, and, most importantly, offers unwavering functionality that your cherished educator will treasure.

Download the template and grab these must-haves:

Tools

  • Pens (we love our Multi-colour Rainbow Pen)
  • 3 vibrant coloured paper or scrapbook paper
  • Glue stick
  • A strip of ribbon for each pen you plan to use

Instructions

  1. Start by slicing one of your papers into a 5″ x 10″ rectangle for the card backdrop.
  2. Glue only the sides and bottom of the flower pot, positioning it about half an inch above the bottom of your background paper. Give it a slight curve to ensure your pens fit perfectly.
  3. Last but not least, pop in those pens, and voilà! Your gift is ready to impress!
  4. For a 3D effect, cut out multiple flowers and glue them on top of each other! Make sure you start from the biggest to the smallest to achieve a layered look.
