Pack your bags (and books!) -- We're excited to celebrate 80 years of Children's Book Week with the 2025 Theme, Book an Adventure. This time, young readers are invited to explore stories that cross time and open doors to new worlds. Award-winning illustrator Jess McGreachin brings the adventure of reading to life and we're thrilled to share this stunning design across a great ranger of school supplies.

Jess's artwork is a tribute to the journeys waiting in books -- an adventure for those who are to dream. Each detail in hiss design, from enchanted forests to boundless seas, encourages children to explore without limits. Hear more about Jess's design here.

"The sky and clouds have always represented the vastness of the universe and a wonder of learning and growing for me. And in many cultures, the seahorse represents growth, strength and beauty - perfect for the themes of growing and inspiring."

Explore the history of CBCA!

Each year since 1945 the CBCA has brought children and books together across Australia through Children's Book Week®. During this time schools and public libraries spend one glorious week celebrating books and Australian children's authors and illustrators.

Classroom teachers, teacher librarians and public librarians create colourful displays, develop activities, run competitions and tell stories relating to a theme to highlight the importance of reading. We are thrilled to partner with the Children's Book Council of Australia to produce a gorgeous range of school supplies for 2025!
