Shipping and Delivery

At Spencil we make every effort to get your gorgeous kids' goodies on their way to you as quickly as possible.

Most domestic orders are dispatched from our warehouse within two business days. From time to time, for various reasons, delays in deliveries are experienced across the country. We use Australia Post for our orders and here is their current advice on areas experiencing delays.

**Customers in Western Australia should expect delays in the delivery of some mail and parcels. There is an estimated delay of 2-3 business days for deliveries both to and from Western Australia. Express Post and StarTrack Premium services are not affected by these disruptions. **

Express orders are dispatched by the next business day, even during this busy period. Please allow up to 4 business days for delivery depending upon the time of purchase and your delivery address. Again, see Australia Post's advice for delivery expectations.

A few things to know about your delivery:

  • All Australian orders are dispatched from Wulkuraka, outside Brisbane, Australia.
  • During sale, holiday and back-to-school periods, delivery may take longer than the estimated timeframes above.
  • If you live in WA, NT or remote rural areas, you may need to allow a few extra days for postage. To find out more about postage to your state, click here to visit the Australia Post website.
  • Goods will be delivered on business days - no deliveries will be made on weekends or public holidays.
  • We deliver via Australia Post with an authority to leave. If no one is available to sign upon delivery at your nominated delivery address (private or work) the parcel will be left in a secure spot on the premises, or a card will be left notifying you of alternative pick up arrangements at the nearest Post Office.

FAQ

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We ship using Australia Post International Express which will be delivered within 4-7 business days from date of dispatch. Refer to the below table for the list of countries we ship to, and the costs in AUD:

We deliver with an authority to leave. If no one is available to sign upon delivery at your nominated delivery address (private or work) the parcel will be left in a secure spot on the premises, or a card will be left notifying you of alternative pick up arrangements.

We recommend either a work address (please include full business name, receivers name and other relevant details) or a PO BOX for prompt delivery.

All prices are in Australian dollars. The prices within the online store DO NOT include relevant overseas duties and other custom charges that you may incur. 

When I log into my account, my order says 'processing'. What does this mean?

This means we’re busy packaging your order and preparing it for dispatch. 

How long does it take to process an order?

Once your order has been placed it will be dispatched by the next business day. If you place your order on a weekday before midday we will likely dispatch it the same day. Please note this can take longer during sale, holiday and back-to-school periods.

If you choose Express Shipping at the checkout, your order will be prioritised and shipped that day if placed before midday, otherwise by the next business day.

My order is ‘complete’ when I log into my account, but I still haven’t received my parcel. Why?

When your order is ‘complete’, it means your order is being scheduled for dispatch from our warehouse. You should also receive an email notification letting you know your order is on its way with a tracking code to monitor its progress with Australia Post.

How can I track my order?

You can only begin to track your order after it has been shipped. Once your order has been shipped you will receive an email from us which includes your consignment tracking number.

Do I need to be home to sign for my parcel?

We deliver via Australia Post with an authority to leave. If no one is available to sign upon delivery at your nominated delivery address (private or work) the parcel will be left in a secure spot on the premises, or a card will be left notifying you of alternative pick up arrangements.

Unfortunately we cannot be held responsible for any lost or stolen parcels.

Can I change my shipping address?

If your order has not yet been dispatched, please call us on +61 7 5464 3745 or email us at hello@spencil.com.au with your order number and the new address. It may not always be possible, however, we’ll try our best to update your shipping address. 

Other Important Information:

While we do everything we can to ensure your order is delivered in a timely manner, we will not be liable for any loss or damage incurred by any person as a result of delay caused by the carrier that we have no control over or by any event which is out of our reasonable control or foresight including but not limited to any delay caused by an incorrect delivery address being provided to us. We cannot accept responsibility for delays in delivery due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. strikes, adverse weather etc). In addition, we do not accept liability for any loss or damage arising from items lost, stolen or damaged after the order is dispatched.
