Why is Spencil moving online?

After 2 years operating Spencil retail outlets throughout Brisbane, QLD, Spencil has been able to gain a better understanding of how to best service our Spencil customers and community. As we have loyal customers located throughout Australia, and internationally, we have decided to focus our efforts to ensure our online portal is operating effectively and efficiently to improve your online shopping experience and cater to all your Spencil needs as best we can. As of February 2018, Spencil’s only retail store will be located at DFO Brisbane, QLD. 

What can I expect from the Spencil online move?

This exciting new move will begin in February as we wish farewell to our Brisbane based retail stores and pop-up stores, allowing us to better focus our efforts into improved product availability, faster enquiries, a variety of purchasing options (such as zipPay), loyalty programs and more online promotions and competitions.

You may have noticed before Christmas our website was upgraded and is now mobile friendly, and easier to navigate with further functions allowing you to sort our product and shop the way that you like best. As we move forward we aim to continue improving our online customer service and shopping experience based on your feedback and what you like best. 

What happens to my Spencil Store Gift Cards?

If you have purchased or received a Spencil Gift Card to be used in Spencil Stores and have a remaining balance to be spent, please contact us at social@spencil.com.au to claim a Spencil e-Gift Card for that same balance. Please ensure you include your full name, best contact email address and Gift Card number for electronic reimbursement.

What happens to my Store Loyalty Card?

Our Spencil stamp system used in the stores will soon be replaced by a Digital Loyalty System that can be used both in store and online. In the meantime, we ask that all Spencil Store Card holders send a photo of their Loyalty Cards indicating how many stamps they have received and we will re-allocate the same value of those stamps into our online system once it is up and running.

To submit a photo, please send to social@spencil.com.au with your full name and email address. Our team will add you to our subscriber list so that you will receive an email notification as soon as our new loyalty system is available. As a thank you to our loyal customers, each stamp will receive double it's worth in value on the new digital system.

Will Spencil be opening stores again in the future?

In previous years, we have successfully brought our Brisbane market an opportunity to shop Spencil at their local shopping centres with our Spencil Pop-Up Stores. Our goal is to bring even more Spencil Pop-Up Stores to popular shopping centres for the Christmas and Back to School season to assist you in finding fun, colourful, stylish, practical and high quality Kids School and Fashion products and accessories for gifts, school and everyday. As of February 2018, Spencil’s only retail store will be located at DFO Brisbane, QLD. Stay tuned for announcements on our new pop-up locations for Christmas and Back-to-School in November 2018.
